Grassy Lick, Kentucky

Grassy Lick is a Montgomery county community about three miles northwest of Mount Sterling on KY 713 and Grassy Lick Creek. The creek has also been known as Buck Lick Creek and Pasture Lick Creek. A Rich Valley post office operated in the area from 1869 to 1871. The Grassy Lick post office opened in 1886, was renamed Grassy in 1895, and closed in 1902.
