Harold, Kentucky

Harold is an eastern Floyd county village on the Levisa Fork of the Big Sandy River established around 1830. The Harold post office opened in 1905 and was named for Harold Hatcher, a local merchant and descendant of the early settlers in the area. Harold now includes the community of Laynesville.
