Josephine, Kentucky

Josephine is a Scott county community about 15 miles north of Georgetown. The area was known has Jackson Bridge and Lytles Fork, both named for local families, and was finally named for Nancy Josephine Murrell.

The Josephine post office opened in 1880 and closed in 1913.
