Nancy is a Pulaski county town located on KY 80 about five miles west of Somerset. The locale was known as Logans Crossroads in the early nineteenth century. A Lincolnville post office opened in 1865, with William Harrison Logan postmaster, and closed in 1875. The Nancy post office opened in 1884, named for Logan's wife.

The Mill Springs National Cemetery and the Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor Center are located at Nancy. (The town of Mill Springs is south of Nancy, and Lake Cumberland, in Wayne county.)
