Peaks Mill, Kentucky

Peaks Mill is a Franklin county community on Elkhorn Creek and KY 1262. A mill was established at the site in 1817 and was later owned by John Peak. The Peaks Mill post office opened in 1856 and closed in 1859, operating briefly as Tiger. Another Peaks Mill post office opened in 1877 and closed in 1907.
