Croakes, Kentucky
Croakes is a Washington county community about nine miles northwest of Springfield on Hog Run. It was the site of Croakes Station on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad and named for Everett Croake, the postmaster.
The Croakeville post office operated from 1892 to 1905.
