Flanagan is a Clark county community on KY 1923 about four miles south of Winchester. The site was known as Rankins Station on the Kentucky Central Railway. The Flanagan post office, named for Judge James Flanagan, operated from 1888 until 1906. A Flanagan's Station may have been located nearby on the same line.
