Map of McKees Crossroads, Kentucky Area

McKees Crossroads was a Woodford county community on the Versailles-Frankfort Road (US 60) and Steeles Road about five miles northwest of Versailles. The name comes from the McKee brothers who settled in the area about 1790.

A Forest Home post office operated at McKee in 1891 and Highview operated from 1901 to 1903. The sources of those names are obscure.
