Wheatcroft, Kentucky
Wheatcroft is a Webster county city about eight miles west of Dixon. It was established in 1899 on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad and named for Irving Horace Wheatcroft, the founder of the town and nearby coal mines.
Wheatcroft was incorporated in 1902.
The Wheatcroft post office opened in 1900.
The population in 2020 was 105.
