Worthington, Kentucky
Worthington is a Greenup county town on the Ohio River about five miles southeast of Greenup. The name comes from William Worthington who once owned much of the land. Worthington encompasses land that was once part of Raceland and the community of Melrose.
Worthington was incorporated in 1920.
The Worthington post office opened in 1933.
The population in 2010 was 1,509.
