Bullittsville, Kentucky
Bullittsville is a Boone county community on Woolper Creek about three miles north of Burlington. It was probably named for Thomas Bullitt, who surveyed the area in 1773. The Corneliusville post office opened in 1827, was renamed Mitchellsville in 1848, and was renamed Bullittsville in 1853. It closed in 1918.
