Kingston, Kentucky

Kingston is a southern Madison county community on Hays Fork about seven miles south of Richmond. It may have been named for a local storekeeper. Kingston was incorporated in 1872, but was later dissolved. The Kingston post office opened in 1846 and closed in 1929.
