Mammoth Cave, Kentucky

Mammoth Cave was an Edmonson county community near the Green River about eight miles east of Brownsville. It is near the historic entrance to the cave and is now within Mammoth Cave National Park.

It was incorporated in 1871, but has since dissolved.

A Mammoth Cave or Mammoth post office has operated intermittently since 1842.
