Narrows, Kentucky
Narrows is an Ohio county community on the Rough River about 15 miles northeast of Hartford. The community began in the early nineteenth century and was known as Phillips Station, named for an early settler. The Narrows name came into use when the railroad arrived, named for the narrow stretch of the river along the edge of the hills.
The Narrows post office opened in 1893 and closed in 1995.
