Pleasant Valley, Kentucky
Pleasant Valley is in Nicholas county in a bend in the Licking River near Fleming Creek about nine miles northeast of Carlisle. It once included stores, a mill, and the Pleasant Valley Station on the railroad. The population was about 100 at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The Pleasant Valley Mills post office opened in 1848, became Pleasant Valley (or Pleasantvalley) in 1895, and closed in 1943.
