Clover Fork, Kentucky
Clover Fork is a Harlan county community near the head of the Clover Fork of the Cumberland River about 22 miles east of Harlan. The area was settled in the early nineteenth century and became the site of coal mining by 1912. The Clover Fork or Cloverfork post office opened in 1857, closed and reopened several times, and finally closed in 1934.
