Grissoms Landing, Kentucky
Grissoms Landing was a northwestern Daviess county community on the Ohio River about 10 miles northwest of Owensboro. It was named for a local land owner and was the site of the Eagle distillery and other businesses. The Grissoms Landing post office opened in 1868, was renamed Grissom in 1895, and closed in 1899.
