Pathfork, Kentucky
Pathfork is a Harlan county community on Puckett Creek at the mouth of Path Fork about 15 miles southwest of Harlan. The area was settled circa 1785 and was early a timber producing area. By the early twentieth century coal mining was present. The Pathfork post office opened in 1916. The population of the Pathfork census designated place in 2010 was 379.
