Centerville is a Bourbon county community located at the junction of the Georgetown–Paris Road (US 460) and the Russell Cave Road (KY 353) about seven miles west of Paris near the Scott and Fayette county lines. It was named for its location between Lexington, Paris, Georgetown, and Cynthiana. A Centerville post office operated from 1828 until 1909.
